There are a number of new exhibitions at Mudam available to view since mid February, and I have finally had a chance to visit the museum and see them for myself.
Most of them are not as good as the previous, anniversary, lot but this little thing pictured above caught my eye and made me stop for a while (and also, for some unclear to me reason, take the photo).
The problem with modern art is that it can be anything, even a rubbish bin placed in the middle of an empty room, which - if you are pop-arty enough - you could easily interpret as a symbol of individual’s loneliness in the world dominated by information-overload (or something equally cheesy and superficial).
This dead animal is just a dead animal to me. But on some level, it also speaks to me as if it was this proverbial rubbish bin, hence the reason why I am sharing this photo. OK, don’t mind me, waffle over.
